You are not hiring one person. You are hiring a firm.

Danielle Engelke

Danielle Engelke

Founder and Senior CFO

Danielle founded Valoré after scaling a fashion company past seven figures in 18 months at 26 years old. She learned the difference between a business that grows and a business that is built, and she learned it the expensive way.

She holds a master's degree in finance and the Associate in Risk Management designation, and has worked on scaling more than 100 founder-led companies. She leads the firm's diagnostic work and sets the financial architecture every engagement is built on.

Based in Chicago. Writes The CFO Letter.

Jenn Jackson

Jenn Jackson

CFO

Jenn is a CFO who works alongside business owners to build financial clarity and drive confident, strategic decisions. She brings that expertise to growing businesses after years in finance, including ownership of financials and strategy for multi billion dollar enterprises and early stage startups.

Through her guidance, many of her clients scale revenue 2 to 3 times while keeping operating costs in check, a result of smarter pricing, cleaner financial infrastructure, and decisions grounded in real margin analysis. Most recently, she helped an educational services business turn negative margins into 40 percent profitability through strategic financial restructuring and AI driven efficiencies. She has also served as the primary finance lead for her clients on over 15 million dollars in fundraising in a single year.

Jenn is well versed in translating complex financials into clear, actionable strategy, so business owners can finally feel confident about the numbers driving their business.

Based in Boston.

Jami Johnson, CPA

Jami Johnson, CPA

Tax Consultant

Jami is the CPA behind Valoré clients. She owns the tax side of the work: proactive tax planning, entity structure, owner compensation strategy, and the filings themselves, so the plan we build on paper survives contact with the return.

She brings more than 15 years as a Certified Public Accountant, working with service business owners on the decisions that quietly determine how much of their profit they actually keep.

Her approach is planning ahead of the year, not reconciling after it, which is why she sits inside the engagement rather than downstream of it.

The Analyst Bench

The Analyst Bench

Financial analysts

Behind every engagement is a bench of financial analysts who build the models, run the unit economics, and do the work that turns a strategy into a set of numbers you can act on.

You will not manage them. You will see their output every week.

Our accounting partner

We do not keep your books. We work hand in hand with your bookkeeper to set the books up properly and oversee that they are maintained daily. If you do not have a bookkeeper, or you are ready to switch, we introduce you to our partner firm.

All of this happens behind the scenes. It is not something you need to manage.
